{"id":1452,"date":"2011-03-24T13:38:14","date_gmt":"2011-03-24T13:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/edtechandtesol.info\/phd\/?p=1452"},"modified":"2011-03-24T13:38:14","modified_gmt":"2011-03-24T13:38:14","slug":"from-here-to-there-and-back-again-conference-papers-by-the-lte-doctoral-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lantern.humanities.manchester.ac.uk\/?p=1452","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFrom here to there \u2026. and back again \u2014 Conference papers by the LTE doctoral community\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Announcing the event:<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cFrom here to there \u2026. and back again \u2014 Conference papers by the LTE doctoral community\u201d<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Friday 3rd June (say 10.00-16.00)<\/p>\n<p>An opportunity for LTE doctoral researchers to (re)present a paper that they have\u00a0presented externally (or will shortly do so) for an internal LTE audience (plus invited guests).\u00a0Each performance will be for 20 minutes with five-ten minutes for questions.\u00a0The title for the day\u00a0is meant to be suggestive of this\u00a0sense\u00a0of us leaving the Manchester home base\u00a0of the doctoral community (i.e. the \u2018here\u2019) and presenting internationally (i.e. the \u2018there\u2019) and now returning to the Manchester home to re-present once more, this time for our home audience.<\/p>\n<p>All those wanting to present should now add a comment to\u00a0this posting with their title and, if possible abstract\/statement of coverage, plus details of where the paper was originally presented\/ will be presented. We will use these &#8216;comments&#8217; to create the publicity etc for the day. So, Tanya? Magda? Eljee? Lou? Achilleas? Paul? Magdalena? Mariam?
