Diversities here refer to different identity markers such as ethnicity, religion, gender, social class, disabilities and language. IJBIDE is clearly positioned within a non-essentialist, non-culturalist perspective. IJBIDE also aims to promote original research methods by linking up macro- and micro-approaches.
