I think Khwan summed up the\u00a0&#8216;Kaleideoscope&#8217; theme well (although I can&#8217;t remember the exact three words you used Khwan!), but it was to do with\u00a0reflecting on things from new and fresh perspectives; seeing things through a different lens.<\/p>\n<p>It was great to see so many people there:\u00a023 people attended on site including 3 alumni (Mariam, Paul Smith and Eljee), Si\u00e2n and her\u00a0student Nouf,\u00a0from Salford, 5 members of staff, and lots of current PhD students (onsite and in-context students). Magdalena joined us from Uruguay, Ivy from\u00a0Bangladesh and Dylan from South Korea.\u00a0There were several PechaKucha presentations, two &#8216;stories&#8217; and some videos. I&#8217;m attaching the programme for posterity\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/lantern.humanities.manchester.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Kaleidoscope-programme.docx\" rel=\"\">Kaleidoscope programme<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Below are some pictures that Gary took of the event, which might help us to remember.<\/p>\n<p><a
