Modern Languages at Southampton invites you to join them in celebrating Professor Rosamond Mitchell’s academic career in this one-day symposium which will take place on 18 June 2014.
The symposium will pay tribute to Ros’s dedication and many achievements in the fields of Education and Applied Linguistics for the past 40 years. It will open with an overview of Ros’s career contributions from Professor Florence Myles and will include a series of talks by former collaborators and PhD students on the topic of foreign language teaching and learning. The event will finish with a round table discussion where participants will discuss the future of language learning and teaching in the UK and beyond. A wine reception will follow. We hope you can join us in making this day very special for Ros.
