{Call for Chapters} Understanding Rural Education (Bill Reynolds, Series Editor)

Call for chapters in Understanding Rural Education (Bill Reynolds, Series Editor),a new volume in the book series: English Language Education in Rural Contexts: Theory, Research, and Practices. The deadline for abstracts is Feb. 1st, and full chapter deadline is June 1st.
Possible topics might address one or more of the following (but not limited to these topics):
·  Effectiveness of English language learning in rural settings
·  Attitudes toward English learners in rural settings
·  Practical applications of English teaching/learning in rural settings
·  Problems in implementing English education in rural settings
·  Why immigrant families choose rural communities
·  Access (issues of privilege, socio-economic class) as it relates to English education
·  Policy issues with English education in rural settings
·  Advantages and/or disadvantages of English teaching/learning in rural settings
·  Issues that non-language-teaching faculty face teaching ELs in rural contexts
·  Issues in teaching/learning content to ELs in rural settings
·  English language teacher training/education in rural settings
