Xu, Jiejing

I am Jiejing Xu. I am a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen. I studied on MA TESOL at Manchester in 2016-17 academic year. Now I am in the third year of PhD study. In the first two years, I studied at the University of Leeds. I transferred to Uni of Aberdeen at the end of last year due to the move there by my main supervisor. My current project is to investigate the possible relationship between Chinese L2 learners’ Chinese competence and their performance in fulfilling English into Chinese translation tasks by looking at what strategies they employ and how in the translation process.
