Amalina Miskon

Hello everyone,  

I am Amalina Miskon. I was a primary school teacher in Malaysia before I came here to pursue my study. I completed my MA in TESOL in September 2021 at the University of Manchester. That was when I realised that enjoyed both teaching and learning, which leads me to pursuing a Ph.D. in Education here at the same university in September 2022. I am particularly interested in critical reflection in reflective practices among language teachers. My study will revolve around using visual arts, i.e., drawing in reflective practices to draw on second language teachers’ conscious and subconscious thoughts while reflecting on their practices and beliefs.
