Warwick conference submission

Just submitted an abstract for the International Postgraduate Conference at the Centre for Applied Linguistics, University of Warwick, on 28th and 29th June. I’m planning to go to the conference whether my paper is accepted or not – but fingers crossed. The paper is based on my 2008 MA TESOL dissertation, on which my PhD is based, so I hope that presenting it here (and, touch wood, in the book chapter I’ve recently submitted a proposal for) will help me apply the understanding I have developed since the MA to these earlier findings.
Very interesting Lou. Its good to ‘get out and about’ and see and how what others are doing and also allow some fresh air to blow around what we ourselves are doing. Did yuo see Paul Smith’s comments on the value of such participation from an event he went to last year at the OU?
