Round Up
Hi Eljee,
Thanks for the update. Peter suggested using the same laptop (and speakers) that we used when we had the test with Made. We could then send our PPTs to you or upload them on that machine directly Friday morning (before the beginning of the conference). If anyone has special features about their PPT (e.g. video of specific file format), then maybe it better to either a) test that on Peter’s machine before hand, b) bring their own laptops along (and factor in the time needed for switching cables), for as we all know not all machines have the same supporting software.
Hello everyone,
For the day, if possible, would you kindly send me your PPT slides so that I can set them up on the laptop? Alternatively just pop them on a USB and I’ll sort the on the day as we go.
Just doing the final checks on the technology side so, fingers crossed, things will be a go on the day! Will update soon.
Yes.
Eljee have we decided about using just one laptop etc? Is all this organised with Peter if we use c2.18?
I am guessing that this question is ‘academic’ especially in view of the exchange between Richard and Magda but I presume IT will be available? I have a few PP slides, not rocket science but worth having.
whooops, I omitted the alll importamt “unlikely possibility of” 🙁
Technology glitches?? :-))
Like Achilleas, I am very flexible. Can wait till everyone has marked their preferences.
We now have a spare slot (as Paul Breen has had to drop out). Inevitably, keeping in schedule is a challenge on multi-speaker days like this, so this gives us just a little extra leeway in case, e.g. the technology glitches with Made’s contribution.
