MIE wins Bera Dissertation Award 2013
Dr Stephen Rogers form Manchester Institute of Education (MIE), The University of Manchester, has won the Bera Dissertation Award 2013 for his thesis An Investigation Into New Labour Education Policy: Personalisation, Young People, Schools and Modernity.
Stephen retired after 30 years in various roles in education, including that of headteacher and director of a national education charity. After completing his PhD, Stephen is a part-time teaching assistant at the Institute of Education, with research interests in policy, student voice and philosophy of education.
It would be great if LTE could obtain – at least – a hard copy of his thesis for members of the Community to have look at.
