Thanks for sharing, Susan. I’m going through my ethical forms revision process and find that meassages in this article echo what I heard from Richard this morning! Sometimes as a researcher we know what we want to do and we want to do it for our own good, but we can forget to be sensitive about what how our participants might feel. Richard’s advice was to put ourselves in their shoes 🙂
