Some of you may have noted Susan Dawson’s absence from bloggery and our Ellen Wilkinson corridors this week – she had a planned operation on Monday and is convalescing for two weeks – I am sure you will join me in wishing her well as she recovers.

    Thanks Richard, Magda and Achilleas. I’m doing well and really hope to be at our ‘coffee morning’ from 10.30-12.00 at Christies Bistro this coming Thursday (17th). Magda, if you are in Manchester then, please do come and join us. Hope to see you all soon.

    Hi Susan,

    I hope you recover soon! I’ll be in Manchester for the freshers’ week (my daughter, Katherine, is starting uni), so maybe we can catch up then if you are well enough to come back after your op.
